Love or to be loved

What would you choose, you love everyone but no one loves you or everyone loves you but you loves no one. And why you choose one not the other,

I would simply choose to be loved by everyone. In that way they will sacrifice for me and help me whenever I need them, not the other way around.

Furthermore, I already know how it is like to love no one but myself, so I don't need to love any. This consequently motivates me to reject the other option; which is to love people but not to be loved.
