إلى أي زمن يرجع تاريخ الاقتباسات؟ هذا هو المحك كلها بعد قرنين وأكثر
ولأجل أن مقطع الزانية و نهاية مرقس لا توجد في اقدم المخطوطات التي ترجع للقرن الرابع الميلادي ولا توجد في اقتباسات قبل هذا التاريخ فحكموا على هذه المقاطع وغيرها بأنها مقحمة على النص
